Nestor
The wise king of Pylos and participant in the Trojan War in Greek mythology.
He was the son of Neleus and Chloris. According to reports, his wife was either Eurydice or Anaxibia.
He participated in many significant expeditions and contests. He took part in the war of the Lapiths against the Centaurs, the hunt for the Calydonian Boar, and the Argonautic Expedition. Despite his advanced age, he also took part in the campaign against Troy with a fleet of ninety ships. This was particularly impressive, as he had already lived for three whole generations. Nonetheless, his contribution was invaluable with his wisdom, clever advice, intelligence, and bravery.
